Courtney Hunter
Development Director
Courtney joined HSS in July 2022 as development director. In this position she is tasked with managing gifts and raising funds to support the programs and mission of HSS. She brings a wealth of experience and a strong passion for the work we do here at HSS every day.
A committed community steward, Courtney previously served as president of the HSS board of directors, as president of the Rotary Club of Columbia, Illinois, and as a school board member at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School in Waterloo, Illinois. Professionally, Courtney worked as the business manager for the Monroe County Independent newspaper and in corporate sales for Raddison Hotels.
At HSS, Courtney says she is proud to be surrounded by talented people all working toward the greater good. She enjoys growing and maintaining community relationships and educating the community about the important role HSS plays in the lives of so many.
