Site Manager (CILA Housing)
Margie has been working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for more than two decades, but her enthusiasm and passion is as powerful as ever.
Margie is the residential site manager for two Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) homes in Hecker, Ill. As site manager, she supervises staff and clients in a group home setting.
Beyond the day-to-day management of the property, Margie strives to make it a comfortable home. She genuinely cares for our clients and works hard to ensure they are living the best life possible.
Margie has made it her mission to be a voice for the residents and speak up for those who can’t do it themselves. Being an advocate for clients is the most fulfilling part of her job.
Margie has been with HSS since November of 2001. She began as a part time employee and worked her way up to management. Margie also serves as the CPR, AED, and first aid instructor for HSS.
